At 6 a.m., the tallest shoot was just over 29 inches high. Well, when it wasn't hanging onto the yardstick, like you see here.
Second photo is to show how much activity is actually going on now, especially as compared to the first photo posted two days ago.
And you've probably guessed that I rather wish I'd chosen a different location for the comparative plant photos...someplace that gives less of a "slovenly lifestyle" impression....
Now I want to go get a sweet potato, just so I can plant it....
DON'T DO IT!
Or at least wait until you know you've got an outdoor spot to plant it when it gets too big, and maybe also until after frost danger has passed....
